About Us

Class Information

Daily Schedule Classes are held between 9:15 AM and 3:15 PM. The length of each class varies, and parents can choose from several weekly schedule options.

Age Requirements LCYC follows the State of Maryland’s kindergarten age requirements, using September 1 as the eligibility cutoff date for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old classes.

Morning Program Options
Morning classes run from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM.

Two-Year-Olds

  • Schedule options: Mon/Wed/Fri, Tues/Thurs, or Combined class M-F
  • Class size: 10 students per class
  • Age requirement: Must be 2 years old by September 1, 2025

Three-Year-Olds

  • Schedule options: Mon/Wed/Fri, Tues/Thurs, or Combined class M-F
  • Class size: 12 students per class
  • Age requirement: Must be 3 years old by September 1, 2025

Three/Four-Year-Olds

  • Schedule: M-F
  • Class size: 10 students
  • Age requirement: Must be 4 years old by January 1, 2026

Four-Year-Olds

  • Schedule: M-F
  • Class size: 15 students
  • Age requirement: Must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025

Extended Day Program
Available for 3- and 4-year-olds up to 5 days a week from 12:15 PM to 3:15 PM. Students must be fully potty trained to attend.

  • The Extended Day program includes a mix of 3- and 4-year-olds and features:
    • Lunch from home
    • Quiet play
    • Outdoor play
    • Special projects

We are located on the lower level of the Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church. Our school entrance is next to the playground on Calvert Place.
